Alexa Chung is the face of Longchamp

Alexa Chung is the brand new face of Longchamp – and we’ve got our hands on the campaign pictures.

Following in the footsteps of Kate Moss and Coco Rocha, she bagged the role after meeting, and presumably charming, Marie-Sabine Leclercq, International Communications Director of Longchamp, at the label’s flagship store opening during London Fashion Week.

‘She is the thirty-something woman who speaks to all women looking to find a style.’ Explains Leclercq. ‘Especially because she is not just a model. She has an attitude, which is both incredibly fashionable and incredibly stylish, and the music world in which she works is a source of inspiration for her.’

The spring 2014 campaign was shot by photographer Max Vadukul in Saint Tropez back in September and sees wearing pieces from the label’s ready-to-wear collection as well as toting its Le Pliage Cuir bag, which is about to celebrate is 20th anniversary.
